My internet connection is going VERY SLOW today and it takes AGES to reply to a comment. IT GETS ON MY NERVES UNF

Which programs do you use?
Sai and photoshop, but mainly sai

For how long have you been practicing drawing?
digital painting, mhh i guess 3 years ago
drawing.. i think since i could hold a pencil; ive drawn all my life!

Why the name akaibelier?
akaibelier is the mix of akai, the japanese adjective for "red" and bèlier is ram and aries in french. The red ram LOL /lame
actually i wanted to use a word for yellow but i didnt like it in any language so i chose red

Why YamaGoku?
YamaGoku; because they are meant to be imho; they are friends, they are rivals, they respect, understand and accept good and bad things about each other. What one lacks, the other one has it, and i could go on forever XD;

Do you play any instrument?
I used to play the piano when i was a kid but dropped it. I regret it now :<

Do you draw your sketches in paper or digitally?
Im terribly bad at drawing in paper. Im constantly mirroring the canvas so whenever I use a pencil and paper i get depressed LOL


Do you usually do many sketches for a drawing or stick with the first one?
I generally dont plan at all and draw whatever comes out; sometimes it gets 4 or 5 sketches before im satisfied, sometimes i stick to the very first sketch and refine it

How did you find dA?
actually.. i dont remember, i think a friend of mine told me about it back in 2005.. because my account ~foxeeh is from that time. I uploaded like 2 or 3 drawings at that time and got bored of it X"D

no se si lo hiciste alguna vez pero intenta esto (si tenes tiempo)

dibuja algo, y pimtalo en capas diferentes del lineart.
una vez terminado pinta el lineart de manera que quede casi como un lineless, o que simplemente sean lineas muy delicadas, de un marroncito bien claro

acopla la imagen SIN un fondo, es decir, que el rededor de la imagen sea transparente

menu capas--> funcion de capa(creo que ese era el nombre)--> resplandor exterior
ahora si queres que quede como resplandor alla vos, pero lo que yo queria que pruebes a ver si te gusta es; selecciona en vez del ambar predeterminado, un marron o negro y cambia la opcion en que dice trama (todo esto de la opcion de resplandor exterior)a "multiplicar". te tienen que quedar unos bordes que le dan un toque muy sutil, independientemente del lineart.

si lo probas avisame :DD
